Andela has launched the Andela Talent Cloud, a new platform that connects skilled individuals with businesses. This platform will change how tech companies hire people.
This Africa-focused startup created the AI-powered solution to help IT executives see everything about job candidates, like their skills and abilities. This makes hiring decisions safer and smarter.
Andela claims that its Talent Cloud is faster, more flexible, and more trustworthy than other hiring methods like in-house recruiting or consulting firms.
Jeremy Johnson, the CEO and Co-Founder of Andela said they combine a private talent marketplace with AI, which helps companies build their teams and finish projects quickly.
It is essentially a Talent Decision Engine (TDE) that considers many factors when hiring, such as skills, experience, location, and feedback from clients. Then it helps businesses find, evaluate, hire, manage, and pay foreign tech workers all in one place.
Andela bought a company called Qualified in March 2023 and added its skills assessment technology to TDE to make sure they pick the right people for the job.
Andela Pay takes care of paying foreign workers in more than 100 countries. It makes sure they get their money safely and efficiently. They also follow rules and regulations to keep things legal.
In light of this recent development, Andela will be hosting a webinar on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023 where Andela’s CMO, Kelly Wenzel will speak with Andela leaders Courtney Machi, VP, Product, and Jake Ricciardi, Sr. Director, Product, to better understand Andela’s proprietary Talent Decision Engine, which leverages AI/ML to help companies find the right talent for the right role.
