Nigerian Startup Blueroomcare Raises Funds to Expand Affordable Digital Therapy

Blueroomcare, a Nigerian startup offering insurance-covered digital therapy, has secured an undisclosed amount of pre-seed funding. The company aims to make therapy affordable and accessible for all Africans.

Launched in late 2021, Blueroomcare enables clients to interact with therapists through in-app messaging, videos, and voice messages. The platform combines advanced algorithms with personalised support from licensed mental health professionals, creating a tailored mental health experience.

EHA Impact Ventures led the pre-seed funding round, with additional support from TVC Labs and Innovest Africa. The new funds will be used to enhance Blueroomcare’s platform, add new features, and expand its reach.

“We are thrilled to have the support of such a remarkable group of investors who believe in our mission,” said Moses Aiyenuro, founder and CEO of Blueroomcare. “This funding will allow us to develop our technology further and expand our services, bringing us closer to our goal of making high-quality mental health care available to everyone, everywhere.”
