Klas Raises $130k Angel Funding Round

Klas, has raised a US$130,000 angel funding round to help it scale.

The ed-tech startup allows creators on its platform to teach a variety of subjects via online classes, with its software supporting everything they need to teach online, including payments, scheduling, community, analytics, and video conferencing.

According to Klas, the funding round saw investment Voltron Capital, Cabal Fund, Velocity Digital, and HoaQ, as well as a number of prominent members of the African entrepreneurship scene, including Tola Adesanmi (Spleet), Odunayo Eweniyi (Piggyvest), Nadayar Enegesi (Eden Life), Njoku Emmanuel (Lazerpay) and Leonard Stiegeler (Jumia).

Klas will use the funding to “double down on platform innovation” and powering online schools globally as it furthers its mission to unlock the power of knowledge sharing.
