Kenya’s Data Integrated, a financial tech and mobility solutions company, has received official approval from the Central Bank of Kenya to work as a Payment Service Provider (PSP).
Founded in 2012 and based in Nairobi, Data Integrated has built a comprehensive Mobility as a Service (MaaS) platform with tech solutions for everyone involved in public transport. This platform aims to make bus services safer, more efficient, and smoother for bus companies, matatu owners, passengers, regulators, and partners.
This approval is a big deal for Data Integrated, showing their commitment to boosting financial inclusion and digital payments in Kenya.
Mary Mwangi, Data Integrated’s founder and CEO, conceded that the Central Bank of Kenya’s approval that now affirms the company as a Payment Service Provider is a major step for them.
This approval will let Data Integrated expand its MobiTill solutions and continue its mission to transform public transport and enhance financial inclusion.
