Boost Teams Up with Mastercard to Empower Small Businesses in Ghana

Boost, a Ghanaian platform for business-to-business (B2B) transactions, has joined forces with global payments leader Mastercard to boost small businesses in Africa’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

Founded in 2020, Boost’s B2B platform helps retail entrepreneurs grow their businesses in the convenience economy. Now, with Mastercard’s support, Boost plans to provide digital wallets and financing options to distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in the FMCG sector.

This partnership means that small and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs) will gain access to digital payment and credit solutions, thanks to Mastercard’s technology.

The goal is to make it easier for merchants to handle payments and access funds for their businesses.

Mike Quinn, Boost’s CEO, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating that it aligns with Boost’s mission to empower small businesses in the digital economy.

With Mastercard’s expertise, Boost aims to make a bigger impact and expand its reach across emerging markets.
