Bolt Brings Easy Rides to Kinshasa, Congo!

Bolt, the ride-hailing superstar, has zoomed into Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), offering more transport choices for folks in the city.

They’re not stopping there! Bolt plans to get more than 200 drivers on board and is even offering rides to and from the international airport.

Unsurprisingly, Bolt won’t take any commission from drivers for the first six months! This move has been a hit in other places Bolt has launched recently.

This isn’t the first time Bolt’s making moves in Africa. Just this year, they’ve launched in Botswana, Egypt, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, where they signed up over 200 drivers in February alone!

And guess what? Bolt’s giving drivers in these new cities a break by not charging any commissions. Usually, they take up to 15%, but not for now.

Bolt wants more people to use their service by keeping prices competitive and helping drivers make more money. They even have a cool new feature called ‘Driver Destinations’ to help drivers earn more while they’re out and about in South Africa.

This isn’t just about making money. Bolt is serious about Africa, investing over $542.8 million to grow and create jobs for thousands of drivers.

Bolt’s not shy about their goals. They want to shake up transportation in the DRC, making it easier for everyone to get around.

Bolt’s expansion comes at a great time! The ride-hailing market in Africa is expected to grow big time in the coming years, with more people using these services. And guess what?

Bolt’s already making waves, with more companies signing up for their business services. They’re managing rides for entire companies, making business travel smoother than ever!
