Remedial Health Launches New App for Neighborhood Pharmacies in Nigeria

Nigerian startup Remedial Health, known for making Africa’s pharmacy system better, just launched an updated app.

This app is like a control centre for local pharmacies and medicine vendors all over Africa.

Started by Samuel Okwuada and Victor Benjamin in 2020, Remedial Health makes tech tools that help healthcare providers get affordable and real medicines easily. They joined the Y Combinator program in 2022 and got a bunch of funding last year.

The new app does a lot. It has a digital cash register for taking payments, virtual bank accounts for getting paid, and a barcode scanner to track sales. It even lets stores manage multiple locations and keep track of inventory easily.

This app also helps stores with their money. It shows how much they make and spend, and gives them data to make better decisions. It’s made just for African healthcare businesses, with special features to help them grow and make more money.

Samuel Okwuada, the CEO, says they made this app after talking a lot with their customers. They want to help local pharmacies and medicine vendors do better at their jobs.

In 2023, Remedial Health sold tons of medicine packs to thousands of hospitals and stores across Nigeria. Their customers made more money, and they got good quality medicines at fair prices.
