Ghana’s top digital freight forwarder, Jetstream Africa, has just launched Jetvision.ai, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform aimed at transforming cross-border trade in Africa.
Based in Tema, Ghana, Jetstream Africa operates in 14 African countries. Their main service, pre-financed logistics, allows businesses to easily book and track door-to-door logistics, financing, insurance, and other trade support services online.
Having secured $13 million in funding last January, Jetstream Africa is now rolling out Jetvision.ai. This platform, a blend of e-logistics and financing, seeks to connect Africa’s 50,000 freight forwarders and two million export and import businesses. It does this by utilising AI to automate processes, manage documents, provide trade financing, and integrate with key services like insurance and payments.
Jetvision.ai promises to spur growth, enhance profitability, and speed up the movement of goods across African borders.
CEO Dede Miishe Addy stated, “Jetvision.ai represents our commitment to innovation and our dedication to supporting Africa’s trade ecosystem” and “By integrating AI into our operations, we’re not only optimising logistics and financing but also empowering businesses everywhere to thrive in the global market.”
