LemFi Appoints Allen Qu to Spearhead Growth Among Chinese Communities

LemFi, a company creating cool ways for folks to pay internationally, just announced some big news! Allen Qu, a super experienced pro in the business world, is joining their team. Allen has a knack for turning companies into big successes, with over 14 years of experience in different countries.

He’s done some impressive stuff before. Like, as the Chief Operating Officer at OPay, he helped turn that company into a unicorn! Now, he’s taking on the role of Vice President of Growth at LemFi, where he’ll lead the charge in taking the business to China.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of LemFi’s recent wins. They just launched their services in the United States, and they got a cool $33 million in funding led by LeftLane Capital.

Allen is no stranger to making businesses grow in new places. He’s already turned two companies into unicorns: first, with a tech company in Beijing, and then with a financial tech company in Africa.

At LemFi, Allen’s gonna use all his smarts to make big deals, get more customers in China, and make the product even better for the new crowd.

Allen himself affirmed that there are over 60 million Chinese people living abroad, and a lot of them don’t get the financial help they need. LemFi knows immigrants well, and with our cool tech, we can really shake things up.

The CEO & Co-Founder of LemFi, Ridwan Olalere, is thrilled to have Allen on board. He said, “We are excited to have Allen lead our expansion into China. Following his previous successes, we are confident in his contribution. His addition to the LemFi team is a significant step toward fulfilling our promise of international payments for everyone.

LemFi is all about bringing fresh services and products to different places through their phone app. They’re committed to making financial services easy to use and understand for people who’ve moved to new countries.
