EMURGO Africa, Cardano’s investment and commercial wing in Africa, has unveiled EMURGO Labs, a specialised development hub for emerging Web3 technologies.
EMURGO Africa, extending its reach across Africa and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, aims to tackle local challenges and uplift individuals and businesses using blockchain technology.
EMURGO Labs is geared towards aiding both established and emerging Web2 and Web3 ventures, driving cross-border digital transformation through the Cardano blockchain.
Ahmed Amer, CEO of EMURGO Labs, expressed confidence in the venture, stating, “The launch of EMURGO Labs marks a significant step forward in our mission to unlock the transformative potential of blockchain technology in Africa, Middle East and GCC,”
